What is the Kanzu and Kimchi Life?
A Kanzu is a piece of traditional African dress and Kimchi is South Korean food. What do they have in common? Nothing. That’s the point. Living the expat life and travelling is all about the differentness in things that makes them worth the experience. The Kanzu and Kimchi way of life is about living just outside your comfort zone but allowing that comfort zone to grow bigger each day. Whether it be driving on the left hand side of the road or white knuckling the seat in an airplane. Its the social awkwardness trying to make friends and the inevitable social faux pas that we all make. It’s the motivation to live a life less ordinary for fear of reaching the end of your journey without having seen, done and shared as much as possible with the people who mean the most to us. It is the belief that there is no greater possession in life than the memory of the experiences, and the stories that we share.
Why should you work with me?
Kanzu and Kimchi experiences are genuine first hand experiences. Having travelled all around the world the Kanzu and Kimchi life ensures you won’t get pictures and recollections that are unnecessarily polished but are honest, raw and show the vulnerability most people feel when they live life as an expat. Kanzu and Kimchi aims to inspire other travellers to face their fears and live life to the fullest one adventure at a time.
